New Ward Boundaries for London in 2026 Election

In the 2026 Municipal Election Londoners will be voting in slightly different Ward configuration than we've had since the 14 Ward system was adopted.
The reason for the change is that London is growing and the Ward populations needed to be rebalanced, while still working to keep "communities of interest" (such as the Argyle neighbourhood) together.
One very visible change is that everything south of the 401 will now be in Ward 14, largely still rural in nature, this ensures those voices are a bit more united rather than divided among 3 wards.
The high growth in the north and west changes the boundaries across the top of the map, and allows for Ward 1 and Ward 2 in the east end to grow a little as well.
This will mean a few more doors for me to knock on in the 2026 election, but Ward 2 will expanded to take in the portion between Hale and Highbury that was previously in Ward 4, and move north from the CN tracks to Oxford St. taking in the former psychiatric hospital lands, the neighbourhoods off of First and Second St; Hansuld, Mardell, Hartlett, Dale, as well at the Culver Dr. and Parkhurst neighbourhoods between Third and Clarke.
In many ways this reflects what Ward 2 should have always been, the whole of the Argyle neighbourhood and I look forward to connecting with residents in the new part of Ward 2 just as much as those in the existing part of Ward 2.
