As the saying goes, the only 2 seasons in Canada are hockey and construction, and there is plenty of overlap between them! As construction season (aka, spring, summer, fall) starts to ramp up, I wanted to highlight the major Ward 2 projects coming for 2025:

-Dundas Street full repave from Burdick to Beatrice,

-Wexford Ave full rebuild including water/sewer and full repave,

-Duluth Cres extension to Admiral Dr (with housing development as well),

-Evangeline and Third St (Pottersburg Sewer renewal phase 3, includes water, sewer and road rebuilds,

-Sovereign Rd & Tartan Dr, repaving and sidewalk installs, plus Sovereign Court repave,

-Gore Rd east of Veterans Memorial repave,

-Second, Leonard, and Scott streets, top coat paving to complete last year's full rebuilds,

-completion of the Wavell bike lane with an in-boulevard connection across the front of CRSS to Argyle Mall,
