Clarke Road EnviroDepot Improvements

For those in Ward 2 and other east-end wards, the Clarke Road Enviro depot is the go-to location however, this weekend is the last to use it for a little while. Work will be taking place over the next few months to improve the site both from a user experience, but also to make for better traffic flow and not to cause line-ups onto Clarke Rd blocking other traffic.

Starting April 14, 2025, the Clarke Road South Enviro Depot will be temporarily closed until further notice to allow for significant site upgrades and construction improvements. This work is part of the City’s ongoing commitment to enhance waste management services, improve customer experience, and support London’s environmental and waste diversion goals.

Planned Improvements Include:

  • Expanded drop-off area to increase capacity and meet growing community needs
  • Enhanced vehicle queuing and improved traffic flow on-site
  • Enlarged leaf and yard material drop-off area
  • Upgraded lighting and fencing for safety and site aesthetics
  • Installation of a new storm sewer system for improved drainage
  • Extension of the elevated lane and retaining wall system to accommodate more vehicles
  • Removals and earthworks for site preparation for future use
